Some stories begin with a single page. Ours began with two eleven-year-old girls who quickly became best friends.

Through every chapter of life -school, growing up, careers, relationships, and everything in between- one thing always remained the same: our love of stories. Books became a place to escape, to dream, to learn, and, more importantly, something we could always share with one another.

As the years passed, we found ourselves searching for something that felt surprisingly difficult to find: genuine community. We wanted more than a book club. We wanted a place where people could slow down, have meaningful conversations, make real friendships, and feel like they truly belonged.

When we couldn't find the kind of community we were looking for, we stopped waiting for someone else to create it.

We decided to build it ourselves.

That's how Ivy & Alchemy Society came to life.

What started as two lifelong best friends with a shared dream has grown into a community where readers gather, friendships flourish, and every person who walks through the door has a place at the table. Whether you're joining us for your very first gathering or you've been here from the beginning, we're so glad our stories have found each other.
