A New Chapter Begins
Every great story has a first chapter, and ours officially began this June.
This month marked an exciting new beginning for our community. We celebrated Pride Month, embraced our new identity as Ivy & Alchemy Society, and gathered together for our very first meeting under our new name. While our name may have changed, our mission remains the same. To create a welcoming space where curious readers can connect, create, and build meaningful friendships through a shared love of books.
To celebrate this milestone, we read How to Kill a Guy in Ten Dates by Shailee Thompson. Filled with witty banter, romance, and plenty of unexpected twists, it gave us so much to laugh about and even more to discuss. From unforgettable characters to hilarious moments and questionable dating decisions, this book was the perfect way to kick off our journey together.
June reminded us why we started this community in the first place: because stories are always better when they're shared.
